Bessy is a hardworking single mother of two from Francisco Morazán. When she isn't at her day job or looking after her daughters, she dedicates her time to making jewelry, which she sells to supplement her income and better provide for the girls.

About her work, she says:

This art was born of the necessity that any single mother has to provide for her children.  It fills me with pride to have my jewelry featured on a website representing beautiful Honduran handiwork, and I want to thank everyone in advance for their support!
